The Rotary Club of Unley in partnership with the Unley Road Association are, for the fifth year, holding the Unley Road Business Awards,
The awards recognise the best business in the precinct, the most supportive business to our older residents and acknowledge and reward the best of their staff. The latter acknowledging their dedication to serving the public of Unley, its surrounds and their support for local businesses. The Pride of Workmanship awards are presented to a number of categories of business with an overall award to the highest achiever.
Businesses can nominate themselves for the Age Friendly or Small Business Award, and can nominate their staff for the Pride of Workmanship Awards. Customers are also able to nominate a business/ staff member.
Small Business Award
Unley Road businesses are invited to apply and encourage their customers to vote for them. The award will be made to the business, which in the opinion of the judges best meets the criteria on the nomination form.
Age Friendly Award
Nomination for this category will be on the same form as the Small Business award but separately judged. Please note this an inclusive award. The award will go to the business which in the opinion of the judges treats its senior or disabled citizens best. The Age Friendly Award is supported by the City of Unley.
Pride of Workmanship
Management & Customers of businesses in the Unley Road precinct will be invited to nominate members of staff for the Pride of Workmanship Award in the following categories:
Best Hair and Beauty
Best Bar, Restaurant, Café or Food Outlet
Best Health, Fitness and Massage
Best Service Provider, e.g., medical, legal, real estate, etc.
Best Retail – General for businesses not included above.
Awards will be made to the best of those nominated, in each category.
A final overall award will be given to the nominee judged best of all categories.
PLUS, If you nominate a business or individual for an Award, you go into the draw to win $250 to spend on Unley Road!

Nominations for the awards close on April 19 2022.
Winners
Winners will be announced at an Awards Ceremony in May.
